ଏ ସନ ଝାଞ୍ଜି କମ
କାଳ ବୈଶାଖୀ ବେଶୀ!
ଆନୁପାତିକ ବର୍ଷା ହାର ବୃଦ୍ଧି
ପାଣିଚିଆ ଖରାର ସାମାୟିକ ଅନୁଭୂତି!
ଆମ୍ବ ପାଚିବାର ସମୟ ବଢିବ
କଞ୍ଚା ପଣସର ବ୍ୟଞ୍ଜନ ପ୍ରବେଶିବ!
ଅସହ୍ୟ ଗୁଳୁଗୁଳିରୁ ତ୍ରାହି ମିଳିବ
ପ୍ରାୟତଃ ରଜ ପାଗ ରହିବ!!

ପବନ ଏଠି ଦୁଷ୍ପ୍ରାପ୍ୟ ଆଉ
ମିଠା ପବନ ସ୍ବପ୍ନ!
ପୁତିଗନ୍ଧମୟ ଦୁଃସ୍ଥିତିରେ
ସଢୁଛି ଆବର୍ଜନାର ପାହାଡ଼,
ଦଳେ ଉଡିଆସି ଡେରା ପକାଇଥିବା
ମଣିଷଙ୍କ ପଟୁଆର ରାଜନୈତିକ
ଅନୁଦାନରେ ପରିପୁଷ୍ଟ ଓ
ଆଜ୍ଞାବହ ଭୃତ୍ୟ ଭୋଟବ୍ୟାଙ୍କ!
ସହରୀ ବସ୍ତିରେ ଅବାଧ ଆବର୍ଜନାର
ଗଢି ଉଠିଛି ବେପରୁଆ ମଣ୍ଡି!
ପବନକୁ ବାନ୍ଧି ନିଲାମ କରିବା
ଅଭିଶନ୍ଧିରେ ଏଠି ବିକଶିତ ପ୍ରାଚୁର୍ଯ୍ୟ!
ଯେଉଁଠି ଫୁଲମାନେ ହରାଇ ବସିଛନ୍ତି
ମହକ, ଜଙ୍ଗଲ ଜଳୁଛି ହୁତ ହୁତ
ନଈରେ କଳ କାରଖାନର ବେଲଗାମ ପ୍ରଦୂଷଣ
ସେଠି ପବନରେ ମିଠାସ
ଖୋଜିବା ବିଡମ୍ବନା ଓ ଆମ ଦୁର୍ଭାଗ୍ୟ ନୁହେଁ ତ !!

ମୋତେ ଘେରି ରହିଥାଏ!
ହୃଦୟ ତନ୍ତ୍ରୀରେ ଶବ୍ଦର ମନ୍ତ୍ରରେ
କବିତା ସେ ନାଚୁଥାଏ!

Their smell was so enchanting
and more so hypnotising!!

Utterly imbibed
Restoring harmony
Pleading for coexistence &
Leasing Life to an
Elated state of euphoria!

Time has gone!
You are no more
be trusted on your face
but with your proven credentials!
Don't take it otherwise,
as situation compels me
to do so even though I
may not like to abide by!!
