रात को लिखने चले थे
तारों को तोड़, ख़्वाबों को जोड़ने चले थे
ज़िन्दगी की उलझन, ख्यालों की कशमकश के परे चले थे
कुछ पल स्वयं के साथ गुज़ारने चले थे
खिड़की के किनारे बैठ मदमस्त हवा से खेलने चले थे
अकेले होकर भी ज़ेहन में सबको समाए चले थे
अधूरे कार्यों का पिटारा संभाले, नई राहें बनाने चले थे
रात को हम बस यूंही लिखने चले थे।-

Above the horizon, in the sky
The hues of Crimson
Enveloping the sky
Chasing the mountains
Adding the blush
As the Sun begins to set.
And, me on a quest to catch
From amidst the roaring tides
Sailing the rudder vigorously
Competing with the time
Just to lose; to the next win
The enchanting moonrise!
Akin to the dawn,
Together, the Sun and the Moon, and
Me beholding from the heart of the sea
Getting more oblivious
To my last fall, thus
Firming my faith and beliefs
To believe yet again, that
His ways are higher, and
To succeed, fail!-
Let's not just talk love,
Let's celebrate love!
Not just today, but for ever!
Let's feel its sweetness every moment
As we nurture and grow together!

Meeting an old friend feels like
Opening a bottle of fine wine
Every sip of which is overwhelming!

January walked in like
A breeze, so calm and subtle
Acting like a catalyst
Carrying the power to rejuvenate
By instilling new hopes
And, pumping fresh energy
For the adventures
We shall tread upon
Till next January sweeps in.

As the needle makes its Final move of 2023
To make the First move of 2024,
The date changes.
Though the sparklers glitter high up in the sky
Yet everything else remains the same
But people rejoice!
As they are filled with new hopes
To continue on the old journey with new zeal
To conquer their fears, and
Embark on the journey of unending success!
