From Day and Night of dying rights ,
struggling years with frightful sights .
The divine steps of Greater men ,
Blessed this day of prestigeous Omen .

This way of virtue , met squillion sacrifice ,
though brave men marched in patriotic guise .
Dependent days turned in obsolete way ,
granted the wish of INDEPENDENCE DAY .

To those holy souls , I owe a pledge ,
