I looked him again,
Until every detail of his face registered in my mind
I heard him again,
Until his voice became my soul
I loved him again,
Until my heart was filled with unquenchable thirst!

Minutes, hours, weeks, months & years,
Life gets entangle in hopes and fears
Once I lived the pain,
Now I am void of it all
Truth was quite sorrowful
And it befell upon me so hard
And I, now compromising with the same,
Letting go slowly of what can never be mine
I got used to of this wilderness that surrounds me,
It accompanies me better than any folk or entity
I was once scared of the rough tides,
Now I hear the music that they bring to me
A less dependent, I see myself now,
Of love, care & compassion
Each passing day giving me a life's lesson,
And a day will come,
When all this will be free from desperation!

In laughter & tears,
Were spent all these years
Between us there is a bond,
that reaps love & trust beyond!

Towards you shall conclude my grief,
Like the droplets of rain that awakened the dead leaf
I muse on my yester when your presence was unknown,
And my heart was just a living stone
Into the darkness I would venture,
Until one day, hope within me sprouted over your gesture
You lift my spirits like birds soaring in the sky,
Intoxicated now with your love, it renders me high
I basked in your warmth,
Like a wanderer who finds an oasis after the storm
Your voice reprieve my fears,
which I survived all these years
Haste not to part,
Or I shall shatter again on your depart
In the ocean of your kindness you let me dive,
And rescued the smile that was until naive
Just a life with you and I shall conquer my weary soul,
And this transit is bound to make me whole!

Those roads were meant to be travelled alone,
Yet we bother a journey with that Known.
I had come a long way in isolation,
My companion is now just an unfaithful shadow.
In solitude's embrace, I found my peace,
But now, betrayed by the familiar, I cease.
Alone, I'll wander, my heart a stone,
For on this path, I am truly alone.

Love perished like a winter tale,
Leaving the familiar hollowness within
Once the heart had bloomed with ecstasy,
And now all seems a fantasy
The void now is my destiny,
His reality is my eternal verity!

The dawn sun,
touching the horizon
And the folks waiting for their run
Life continues in monotony,
Until one day, they hit the one
Adventures never halt,
And that's life without a fault!

Fear is a strong emotion.
One who conquers it,
conquers the world.

Everything has changed,
now that we became estranged
time & distance betrayed us,
And there was nothing left to discuss
I chased that was not in my fate,
And luck never knocked my gate
Like the shore, thirsty for the ocean,
My love for thee shall seek no other devotion!

2023 was a roller coaster ride,
in every sense it drove me wild
I saw the zenith
I saw the fall,
And twice my luck gave me a call
I hated it so much
& I loved it too,
Somehow, I travelled it through
I had a chance to become anew,
But there were times, when I was left blue
Eventually, I became adamant & strong,
And the unworthy were pushed into the storm!
