I don't want rose petals showered
down on me..
Rather ,take me with you to an
adventure round your place.
We could watch the sparrows
shriek and fight and we could bask
in the morning light.
Sing me a sweet lullaby when I'm
tired and let me rest my head on
your lap under the bougainvillea
shade.
Shower down your love on me, why
don't you instead of the rose petals?
We will watch the sunset at the
end of the the day, still from under
the bougainvillea shade.
