But, deep down, I know that it is just an excuse to lose myself in memories of a person who doesn't give a damn about my feelings.

Yes she is hurt, but she pretends to be fine.
And her favourite lie, " I am okay" and her smile hides all the pain. She won't say anything, coz she doesn't want someone to call her weak, but she will let her silence say it all.
