ஏதோ சொல்லிப் பார்த்தேன்
என் வார்த்தை பதிந்தது பிரபஞ்சத்தில்
எல்லாச் சொல்லும் ஒளியே - அது
எங்கோ இருக்கும் வெளித்தடத்தில்
ஓதுவதெல்லாம் நிறக் கீற்று
உலகமென் றாகும் வரைபடத்தில்
உண்மைச் சக்தி இருந்தாலோ
உன்வார்த்தை நிற்கும் உன்னதத்தில்!

Who brings out our inner light,
And encourages to fight the good fight,
Who makes our wisdom sore and take flight,
And conquer the outer and inner worlds
And makes righteousness shine forever bright.

மனமென்ற நிலவு வானில்
மலர்ந்து ஒளி கொடுக்குது
நினைவுகளே தாரைகளாய்
நிலவி எங்கும் மினுக்குது
பனியாகப் பொழியும் அன்பு
பாரிலெங்கும் பரவுது
இனிமைதரும் வெற்றிகளே
இன்னிசையாய் நிலவுது
நனைந்திடலாம் அருளில் நல்ல
பனிக்கால இரவிது!

When memories shine on the starlit night.

Chocolate speech gladdens my heart,

பூத்துக் குலுங்கும் செடியில்
பூத்தது என்மனம் தானே?
பொன்முகப் பகலவனைத் தேடி
பலதிசை நோக்கினேன் நானே!

ஆராவன்பினை இறையைத் தேடி
ஆயுளில் பாதி முடிந்தது
பேரொளி இருப்பது என்னுளே தானென
புரிந்ததும் வாழ்க்கை மலர்ந்தது!

சிலநேரம் பை மாறும்,
பொருட்கள் புதுப்பை சேரும்.
சிலநேரம் பொருட்கள் மாறும்,
பையோடு வேறு உறவுகள் கூடும்.

உடலா, உலகா இந்தப் பை?
உயிரா, உணர்வா உள்ளிருப்பது?
கடலில் உப்பைக் கரைத்து,
கடல்வற்றி உப்பைப் பிரித்து...

என் அடையாளம் என்ன சொல்?
இருக்கின்ற பையா? அதன் பெயரா?
உள்ளிருக்கும் பொருளா?
அதன் குணமா?
பையும் பொருளும் அறியாத...
காற்றா? காலமா?
