Wished to be a twinkling star in the sky,

Restless nights were how I navigated the way

There the fate clipped one of my wings

Making flight one of the struggling things

Every flight was filled with pain

Still, I endured through tears and strain,

Believing the height was worth the pain!

The other wing finally took me off to a high,

Surviving the lows, I touched the sky!

The other wing made me shimmer in the sky,

Proving that dreams never die!

As people progress in their lives and careers they may upgrade their phones, vehicles and houses. However trying to "upgrade" the people in their lives actually reflects a "downgrade" on their part.

ಅದರ ಮರೆಯಲೆ ಕಂಡೆನೊಂದು ಕೋಲ್ಮಿಂಚು!

ಇಳೆಯ ನಗಿಸಲು ಇದೇ ವರ್ಷಧಾರೆಯ ಸಂಚು!

Being short is okay

Being fair is okay
Being brown is okay

Being modern is okay
Being traditional is okay

Being curvy is okay
& being lean is also PERFECTLY OKAY

But you know what's not okay?
Telling someone else they are not perfect because of your view of "perfect beauty" !!

ರವಿ ಮೆರೆವುದ ನೋಡಿ ಸಿಡುಕುವನೆ ಶಶಿಯು?
ಇರುಳ ಬಾನಿನಲಿ ಆತನದೆ ಮೆರಗು!

ಇರುಳ ಕೊನೆಯಲಿ ಬೆಳಕು
ಸೋಲುಗಳ ಕೊನೆಯಲಿ ಗೆಲುವು!

ಬರಡು ಕೆರೆ ತುಂಬಿರಲು ಬೊಚ್ಚುಬಾಯಿಯ ಮುದುಕಿ ಕೊಡ ತುಂಬಿ ನಗುವಂತೆ

ನವಮಾಸಗಳ ಕಾತರದಿ ಕಾದು ತಾಯಿ ಮಗುವ ಕಂಡಂತೆ

ಬಿತ್ತಿದ ಪೖೆರು ತೆನೆ ತುಂಬಿ ಬರಲು ರೈತ ಸಿರಿಮೊಗದಿ ನಲಿವಂತೆ

ಎನಗಾಯಿತು ಕನಸು ನನಸಾದ ಸಾಥ೯ಕತೆ!
