Empty Chair!

An Old, Worn-out Chair in a corner of the Attic,
Of late, that's what I've become;
Fairly Useless now, I am parked there mostly Unused
Just watching the World go Round!
No one pays much attention to me now, but
I wasn't always like that at all, you know?!
I used to be of great use and help people gain Lost Ground!

But even now, when You become a little Lost and Weary,
When you feel like almost Giving Up;
You quietly climb up and sit on that Empty Chair,
I smile as I feel a little Worthwhile!
I feel so happy when I see you find your Peace there
In a World so Absurd and Unfair;
In that quiet corner of the Attic as You catch your breath
And try not to go Haywire!
