Oh how I loathe the heat of summer days,
The scorching sun that beats upon my skin,
The sweat that trickles down in endless ways,
And bugs that buzz and bite with ceaseless din.
But winter, ah! The season I adore,
With snow that blankets all the world in white,
And chilly winds that whip and gust and roar,
That fill my soul with wonder and delight.
The warmth of summer brings no joy to me,
But winter's frosty grip is pure delight,
I long for snowflakes falling gracefully,
And icy landscapes, oh so pure and bright.
So let the summer sun beat down its rays,
For I shall wait for winter's snowy days.-
From the ashes of the past we rise,
Like the phoenix soaring to the skies,
Leaving behind all that was painful and old,
Embracing a future bright and bold.
For life is a journey with twists and turns,
Where memories are made and lessons learned,
Some sweet as honey, some bitter as gall,
But all valuable in their own call.
So let us not dwell on what's already gone,
But look ahead to a brand new dawn,
Where happiness and joy await us all,
If only we answer their call.
Let us burn the past, let it turn to ash,
And create a present that's bright and brash,
For life is fleeting and time is short,
So let's make the most of every effort.
Let us be like the phoenix, reborn anew,
With wings outstretched and hearts so true,
Ready to take on whatever comes our way,
And make the most of every single day.-
You are my wonderwall, my shining star
The one I turn to when my world feels far
Your light brings warmth and fills me with peace
In your embrace, my heart finds release
Through the highs and lows, you stand by my side
A constant presence, my unwavering guide
With your steady strength, you hold me tight
And chase away the shadows of the night
You are my wonderwall, my safe haven
A place of solace, where I am forgiven
Your love is a beacon that lights up my way
And I know with you, I'll never stray
In this vast and unpredictable life
You are the one constant that banishes strife
You are my wonderwall, my rock, my all
And with you, I know I'll never fall.-
In life, we're all caught in a battle,
A struggle between our desires and the world's rattle.
Our passions, our cravings, our libido's call,
Are constantly at odds with the bank and the mortician's haul.
We strive for success, for money, for fame,
But forget that our time on this earth is not a game.
We chase after things that we cannot keep,
Forgetting that life is but a fleeting, fragile sleep.
We ignore the warnings, the signs of our fate,
And live as if we have all the time to wait.
But death comes for us all, in the end,
And we can't escape, no matter how much we pretend.
So let us remember, in our daily strife,
That life is not just about accumulating wealth and life.
Let us focus on the things that truly matter,
And live each day as if it were our last, without any chatter.
For in the end, it's not our bank balance or fame,
But the love we shared and the memories we claim,
That will truly matter, when we're gone,
And our time on this earth is but a distant song.-
Your eyes are like stars in the night sky,
Your smile is the sun on a cloudy day.
In your arms, I feel safe and secure,
With you, my heart is forever pure.
My love for you will never fade away.-
In the suburban backyard,
Where the grass is green and high,
There lies a broken dream,
That seems to never die.
Amidst the trees and flowers,
Stands a figure tall and still,
A symbol of hope and grace,
For those with broken will.
This figure is no other,
Than the one they call Jesus,
A beacon of light and love,
For those who seek to seize us.
In this quiet and peaceful place,
Where dreams and hopes reside,
Lies the one who guides us,
On our journey through the tide.
So if you find yourself lost,
In the bolevard of broken dreams,
Just look towards the suburban backyard,
And you will find the one who redeems.-
Monday because the weight of the weekend's memories hangs heavy on our hearts, as Monday beckons us back to the monotony of the mundane.

Clouds, oh clouds, so lofty and free,
Drifting lazily, for all to see.
Seemingly aimless, yet always on the move,
Changing shape, with nothing to prove.
They inspire in me a sense of wonder,
As I gaze upon them, and ponder.
How effortless they float, how carefree,
Without a care in the world, for all to see.
Oh, to be like a cloud, and simply exist,
Without the burden of action, or the need to persist.
To be carried by the wind, and free from strife,
With no worry for the intricacies of life.
But wait, is it really laziness that I see,
Or is it something deeper, something that sets them free?
Perhaps it's not a lack of ambition, but a higher goal,
To find peace in the moment, and let go of control.
So, if I want to be like a cloud, it's not just about being lazy,
But about finding that inner calm, and being truly crazy.
To let go of the worries, and embrace the unknown,
To find my own path, and make it my own.-
Broken promises, shattered dreams,
Echoes of a past that's not what it seems,
Trust once strong, now fragile like glass,
Cracks that run deep, through the walls that amass.
A castle once mighty, now weakened by doubt,
As shadows creep in, and hopes fade out,
The weight of it all, too much to bear,
As whispers of betrayal fill the air.
Promises made, but never kept,
Words that were spoken, but soon forget,
The heart once open, now closed and guarded,
As the wounds of broken trust leave it scarred.
The echo of the past, a constant reminder,
Of what was lost, and what was left behind her,
A haunting refrain, that lingers in the mind,
Of all that was broken, and what was left behind.
But through the cracks, there is light,
A chance for healing, and a chance to make it right,
For trust can be rebuilt, and promises made anew,
If we have the courage, to start anew.
So let us gather the pieces, of what was lost,
And mend them together, at any cost,
For a castle of glass, can once again stand tall,
And broken promises, can be made whole.-
