On my first day of school, I had a red mark in my school calendar. My parents were summoned and told I was a very troublesome child.

But, then none of my teachers, from then until the day I finished my education, ever stopped me to pursue my dreams.

They guided me with their words of wisdom, made sure that naughty kid grows into this person he is today.

To all my teachers, mentors, guides who have stood as a rock.

It's 1996.
Waking up at 7.00AM and getting dressed.
Wearing a cleanly pressed white Kurta Pyjama and pinning the tricolour on the chest.
Going downstairs and attending the flag hosting ceremony in the compound, singing the national anthem and getting 2 Eclairs.
Life was good.

25 Years Later:
Sleeping until 9.00 AM
Waking up to see that the flag hoisting in the compound is already over.
Switching on the TV to see patriotic movies played.
Going to YouTube and playing Sandese Aate Hain in full volume.
Happy Independence Day!!
