lay on the grass and stay awake,
count the stars untill you forget
close your eyes and find a way.
whisper to your heart
that you did your best,
forgive yourself
and forget the rest.
breathe in hope and pluck some courage,
believe a little and turn the page.

he traces patterns
at the back of my hand
and kisses gently
the scars.
he interwines his fingers with mine
as he pulls me close to him.
he tells me not to speak
of the monsters in my mind,
and draws a star on my naked neck
while calling me his petrichor.
he holds my hand
reluctant to let go
and looks me in the eyes
making me want his heart.

how do I let go
of a love like this?

crept in me as I opened
the drawer locked since long.
A picture of you, a dry flower,
a tear stained letter, a lifetime of hour.
With shivering hands I touch you
through a piece of paper,
running fingers over the letter
you wrote me the last time.
The flower dried, the memory didn't
the fragrance had gone but the touch didn't.

1. Distance myself from people because when I'm sad, I end up telling things which were not supposed to be told.
2. Start scribbling all the random thoughts in my mind - positive or negative, to let it all out.
3. Clean up my room :)

You are like sand, and I the hand. The more I try to hold on, the more you slip away. So I return home with an ache in my heart similar to a heartbreak, cursing myself to not know the darkness you have locked yourself in.

whose foundation is hollow,
no matter how many rooms you try to build up
it will collapse and ruin one day.

that no matter where I am today, my tomorrow will always be better.
No matter how many parts of mine are broken today, my tomorrow will always be a healer.

"Because to feel the cold, you need to know the warmth. There's numbness on my skin and oblivion under it."

Levels of happiness changes over time
and so does the recipe, just like
maggie, you know...
on somedays the spices
and on the other, the veggies
on some nights the cheese
and on the others, the sauces.
I might be swimming
in the waters of sorrow,
with happiness turning cold at the shores
just like coffee, you know...
bitter and sweet, some milk with a treat
waiting to sip it in,
just before it turns cold.
