Drowning
Struggling to keep my head above water.
Flailing my arms and legs, trying to find something, anything to hold on to.
A reason to stay a float.
But no matter how hard I try, water enters my lungs.
Suffocating me, dragging me down into the depths of the ocean.
My muscles, too fatigued to even try to keep my body up
Sinking, sinking deeper and deeper into despair.
My lead heart bringing me deeper even quicker.
Until I reach the bottom having no hope,
Left all alone once and for all.
