JOURNEY
When I was Young, I saw little.
My Mind I feel, was Sharp yet Fickle
In fun and games, I found joy,
Always cared for, never a lonely boy
Then I grew, I became curious
About things many, both good and bad
Things I questioned, Paths I walked
And found my answers, some quite mad!
Then I grew, I became bolder
And made mistakes, which I fear,
Would trouble me when I'm Older
But taught me Lessons I hold dear
From my mistakes I learned much
Small lessons, not Wisdom as such,
But Introspection and Humility, I realized
Would mean my Improvement Uncompromised
One day I saw my Goal in sight
And I gave myself to that One Last Fight
But only to find the Doors I'd opened
Lead to more in Sequence Unbroken!
"Just Great." I said with a pant
And continued through the Sands
Of Time of Lost track and count
To Conquer forever that Unbroken Mount
Smilingly still, I carry on Today,
But with myself a little Game I play,
To take the Steps one at a Time
And that Weariness is but a Mime.
