बहुत ही अजीब हो जनाब,
बहुत ही अलग से रखते हो मोहब्बत का ख्याल!
मोहब्बत जताई भी जाए, और निभाई भी जाए आप से,
पर बस कभी मोहब्बत की फर्माइश रखी न जाए!

ये क्या हरक़त सी करते हो आप!
मोहब्बत के नाम पर बंधुआ मजदूरी को समझते हो आप!
माना आप की बातें है बड़ी ख़ास, पर मोहब्बत को तो मोहब्बत से रहने दो यार।

कभी कभी दो पहलुओं के बीच, पहल कहा कि जाए इसी में कई पहर निकल जाते है।
और अगर पहल मिल भी जाए, तो इन्सान पलट जाते है।

ਭੁਗਤੀਆਂ ਪੈਂਦਿਆਂ ਨੇ, ਕੀਤੀਆਂ ਹੋਈਆਂ।
ਕਿਸੀ ਥਾਂ ਜਾ ਕੇ ਭੁੱਲੇ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਕੀਤੇ ਹੂਏ ਗੁਨਾਹ।
ਬੰਦਾ ਸੋਚਦਾ ਹੈ ਕੁਝ, ਹੁੰਦਾ ਕੁਝ, ਮੁੱਝ ਚ ਕੁਝ।
ਕਰਮਾ ਦੇ ਖੇਡ ਦੇਖ ਹੈਰਾਨ ਹੋਇਆ ਖੁੱਦ ਖ਼ੁਦਾ ਕਈ ਵਾਰ!
ਸੋਚਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੋਚ ਦੀ ਲੋ ਨਾਲ ਅੱਗ ਹੋਰ ਭਲ਼ ਅੱਧੀ ਵੱਟ, ਕਿੱਥੇ ਨਿਕਲੋ ਅਰਦਾਸ ਦਿਲੋ ਦੱਸ!
ਭੁਗਤਣ ਆਏ ਸਭ, ਕਿਉੰ ਹੈਰਾਨ ਹੋਏ ਦੇਖ ਅਪਣੇ ਵੱਲ!
ਕਿੱਥੇ, ਗਈਆਂ ਕਰਤੱਬ ਕਹਾਣੀਆਂ ਹੁਣ ਦੱਸ।
ਭੁਗਤੀਆਂ ਪੈਂਦਿਆਂ ਨੇ, ਸਭ ਗੱਲ ਤੋਂ ਗਾਲ ਵੱਖ।
ਤੇ ਸੁਣ "ਪੂਰਨ" ਹੁਣ ਇਹ ਖਿਆਲ ਰੱਖ...
ਸਭ ਜਾਣਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਨਾ ਕਰ ਅਣਚਾਹੇ ਕਰਮ।
ਬਾਕੀ ਭੱਲਾ ਕਰੂਗਾ ਤੇਰੇ, ਸਭ ਦੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਵੱਸਦਾ ਰੱਬ।
