Holding on to pain and expecting not to hurt anymore just doesn't make sense.
It's like trying to build something while you're holding broken glass in both hands.

and what do we really gain?
Always postponing till later,
as if tomorrow is guaranteed.
Thinking our wants are greater,
just focused on our own needs.
Then we realise it's too late
when we hear they are gone.
Some say that it is fate,
but why does it feel so wrong?
