Everyone can see the smile on my face,
Only a few can see the pain behind that smile.

It's a disguise,
Hiding the tears behind the smile.

I put on a brave face, I stand tall,
But inside, I'm barely holding on at all.

I laugh and joke, I play my part,
But my heart is heavy and my mind is dark.

I don't want to burden anyone,
So I keep it all inside, and I just hold on.

But it's hard to keep it all together,
As it feels like it's crushing my feathers.

I need someone to understand,
Someone to hold my hand.

But for now, I'll keep on smiling,
Hoping that one day, my heart will start rejoining.

So, if you see me with a smile on my face,
Don't assume I'm okay, there's a hidden place.
Where my pain resides, and my heart is aching,
But I'll keep on smiling, forevermore.

With happiness.
But now occupied with pain
And hell,
Torn apart completely.

Leaving me overwhelmed And

Thoughts and emotions
Racing through my head
Making my mind blow
Like a fiery volcano.

But in the ashes of
Despair,
A hope of tomorrow still
Shines,
To rise all above the
Troubled times.

So let my mind blow,
Let the tempest rage,
For in the end, I know
I'll find the strength to turn
The page.
