Winds of west bring a monsoon shower
For my soul is burning in despair
Unaided by any stream.

My skies above rage against nightfall
For sun is leaving me with blizzards
Impairing any journey ahead.

While darkness surrounds an unaided path
Horizons above leave the starlight
For me to cling for hope.

These Nights shall know heat of my blood
While might of yesteryears though weakened
Shall bring forth a destined dawn.

Completion of some journeys are the most rewarding things.

Darker than the nights are my eyes,
Tearing those voids of emptyiness.
And shredding those weak threads
Holding my soul.

My flames flickered,
In midst of winds.
Of storms of sand,
At times of snow.

Those retreats I took,
When victory was at mile.
And nothing seems possible,
For my weary bones.

Then I shall rally again,
With what is left.

My conscience knows.
