To write my book of poems with you.

लफ्ज़ काग़ज़ पर उतारूँ तो धुँआ सा उठता है,
क्या आज मेरा कोई ख़त जलाया है?

You need to learn to unlove the people who will never learn to love you.

कुछ पल और लिपटे रहने दे,
तेरे हाथों की लकीरों को
मेरे हाथों की लकीरों से,


शायद छाप छोड़ जाएं
वो तेरी किस्मत की
मेरे हाथ पर भी।

बोहोत बार टूटना होगा,
फिर से तुझसे जुड़ने के लिए।

And I found you
The same way
The earth finds solace
In the petrichor.

Sometimes I wish "Crying out loud" was as normal as "Laughing out loud".

So people could easily bare out that sudden jerk of emotions while at a grocery store or maybe in a movie hall, or parks, parking lots, at parties, in cafes, and why not offices, board rooms, in a flight or anywhere they'd want to!

Why do places decide the kind of emotions we can express when we have no control over what we feel?

शर्मिंदगी नज़रों में थी उसकी।
लबों पर जो बात थी,
वो मैंने सुनी ही नहीं!

But tonight if you tell me
That those ghosts keep crawling around
And that they refuse to leave your mind,
That they stab your heart every single night
And they get hold of your throat and your spine,
They burn your soul and crush your intestines
As you cry and crumble and scream and pray and beg them to leave...
I'm going to believe you!
