An easier way to make your life simple is to realise that almost everything you do is done by you for yourself. Even the things you do for others are done out of some self interest. Primarily for two reasons. One, you expect to get something in return in future. Two, you want to feel good about yourself. The latter generally remains more unrecognised and unaccepted.

Distrust and Scrutiny. Sometimes you deservingly have to take a lot of shit from people. Deservingly, because you couldn't achieve what people, including you, expected you to achieve. And that leads to a lot of distrust and scrutiny. People constantly keep an eye on what you are up to because now you can't be trusted, in totality. They regularly scrutinize everything you do because you are expected to mess it up, again. They do feel bad about their behaviour but they just can't help it. That's what they have become. It gives them some sense of security that they are doing something for you. And that helps them sleep a bit better. And some people continuously try to motivate you. They will share some random success story or send you a random motivational quote or video or something. These people too, think they are doing something good for you. And all of these things done, are done in good faith. They wish well for you. But the thing is, none of this helps you... But you just gotta suck it up...!!!
