we lay on the green meadow.
my head resting on your lap.
the breeze, beaitiful and mellow.
as i look up at the sky
and then into your deep brown eyes,
i find myself standing at the horizon;
witnessing heaven and earth
at the same time.
and when the sun
tries to hinder my bliss,
you say nothing but lean in closer
and smile at me.
the light strikes your back
and i watch it disperse
into a million brilliant colours.
at that very moment,
i feel i've found my universe.
my safe haven.
