He loved him so much, with all his heart,
His fragrance mingled, never to part.
He ate the lies, his own feelings denied,
But his worries kept him up, through the night's tide.
He gave up learning, for his own sake,
Wrote his name, his heart did ache.
Left his classes, sought solace in leisure,
But when time came, he chose a different measure.
If he agreed, he'd talk with grace,
No anger shown, just love's embrace.
A bit of worry, in his heart did reside,
In every prayer, he asked for him by his side.
Never asked for money, nor any gain,
Just love's request, in his heart did reign.
But on his birthday, sadness did loom,
Left him for stranger boys, in a lonely room.
Pictures taken, memories stirred,
Alone he stood, in solitude preferred.
Yet in his heart, a hope still thrives,
Saying the story's not over, life still survives.
