The darkness is a living thing
A presence that I can feel and cling
It wraps around me, like a shroud
A comforting embrace, a somber cloud
In this world of darkness, I am free
To be myself, to be wild and be
No judgments here, no expectations
Just the darkness, and my own reflections
So I embrace the darkness, and its reign
For in its depths, I find my own domain

In gardens of love, a rose once did grow
With petals so soft, and a scent so sweet
But as time passed, the rose began to wilt
And the love that once bloomed, did slowly retreat
Its thorns once protected the rose with care
But now they pierce my heart, with a lingering snare
For the love that we had, is now but a memory
And the rose that I once knew, is now but a mere fantasy
The once vibrant colors, now dull and gray
The beauty that was, now fades away
The scent that once filled the air, is now but a trace
And the love that we had, is now but a distant place
Oh dreaded rose, with petals so fine
Why did you wither and die, and leave me so divine?
I thought our love would last, until the end of time
But now, I'm left with just a memory, of your rhyme-
