I kept trying for the right manner and words to emote my core
But always fell short of the precise ones that could roar
Eventually I compromised with my emotions and closed the pores

Forests cut down
for greed
Animals become homeless

Patience is the blissful virtue
'Rabb' grants us the courage to be grateful
All the while dealing with problems we wonder if He is listening
Yelping, not realising the virtues bestowed, are the prayers answered
Every time an adversity arrives it prepares us for a higher purpose
Realising this brings us closer to Him and peace

An encouraging pat on a tired back
A kind gesture that brings a smile
A helping hand to a drowning soul
A listening ear that saves a life

A silent prayer for this world or
things that make a heart settle
are blessings in disguise and are
little things that aren't little

I found happiness casually
lying on an old shelf,
when grief's aftermath
made me meet myself

तन्हा आए हैं तन्हा जाया जाता है
तो तन्हा जिया क्यों नहीं जाता है

देखो! जिंदगी खूबसूरत ही है मगर
इंसान खूबसूरत बनाने में मरता जाता है

तैयारियां मरने के बाद की भी करता है
मरने के बाद साथ कुछ नहीं जाता है

हाथ तुम्हारे कुछ नहीं, फिक्र का फिर सबब क्या
उसकी रज़ा में जियो, तुम्हारा क्या जाता हैं

हर लम्हा खुल के जी लो
क्योंकि वक्त गुजरता जाता है
