I see light leaving me

In a speed faster than my hope, And then carrying hope in its arms And me alone, with the belief

of not returning again. I see them leaving, through

The pores of the walls of my house,

Through my closed window panes Locking cages inside my mind And freeing up the cell of my demons.

It's not always the darkness that scares, It's the hope too. It's the hope of turning blind in the mind, Of turning deaf to the muffled sounds of light Of turning dumb to scream

If it ever passes by my home,

To stop it from leaving.

मुख सुखी करण्याची भिन्न धमक
भेगाळलेल्या हाती 'तिच्या'
अविरत राबायची तयारी 'तिची'
बरसवण्या सरी सुखाच्या....

स्वयंपाक घरंच हक्काचं स्थान 'तिचं'
चार भिंतीत वसलेलं विलक्षण नगर,
'ती' स्वतःच त्या नगराची सम्राज्ञी
म्हणूनच निर्मळतेला फुटलाय बहर.....

नगरी या मोल न कसले
अलंकार ना अहंकाराला,
साधं लुगडं, बांगड्या, कुंकू
आणि 'तिचं' बहुमोल हास्यच सोबतीला...

भाकरी थापून हस्त 'तिचे' अलगद
थापलेल्या भाकरीला तव्याच्या स्वाधीन करतात
चटक्यांची दहशत पेलवत भाकरी भाजते 'ती'
टोपल्यात भाकरी जाता नयनपाकळ्या
'तिच्या'आनंदी होतात.....

भाजी-भाकरीचा तृप्त घास
शिणलेल्या मनास लाभलेलं मौल्यवान धन
तत्क्षणी पूर्ण होई 'तिची' इच्छा
होती धडपड केवळ पाहण्यासाठी ते समाधानी मन...

Few people aren't just humans. They are aesthetic. They just make you feel so good, that you want to freaking stalk them everywhere. You start to feel like they are right beside you. You may be in chaos, but when you just see their name or their picture or even recall a sweet simple memory, you feel so good. You feel blessed. You feel positive. You feel like you are doing well in life because they have made you feel like you rule the world. They are like a park that you would go visit, take a silent walk and just sit down there. You don't have to talk to them but just their presence makes you feel like a warrior. They might be your bestie, but just the fact that they touch you differently makes you feel accomplished and wholesome. Even the slightest whiff of their name refreshes you so much. They are simple, happy and a complete therapy. I call them, my pinterest. Simple, aesthetic and addictive.

From what I have learnt from life, I think you need a heartbreak, at least once. It opens your eyes to so many things. Pain will come and come it must for it's what shows you the glistening pearls that are scattered, everytime the moon cries upon drifting from his beloved the sun. Imagine how painful it must have been for that last puff of dandelion that held on to the stalk for so long, knowing that it will be blown away at the end too. Sadness arrives.

But at the end, you accept it. Like you accepted the moon's tears and admired them by calling them stars. Like you accepted the soaring dandelion puff as a good luck charm and wished upon it about your fondest of yearnings. And just like that, maybe one day, you would admire the remnants of your heart too. One day, you would adore yourself and then teach others to adore you too.

We are always taught the fact that to live we must keep holding on to the things which are meant to flow. But sometimes we must let go of the things which even meant the world to us. Let go of the person who was once your home, but now isn't. Let go of the friend who was once your family member but now isn't. Let go of the memories which are haunting you, now and then. Let go of the person who no longer trusts you. Let go of the dreams which are no longer letting you breathe. If you feel that your heart needs to cry then just let your tears roll down from your eyes cause it is perfectly fine today to close the book and never to read it again. But, once you master this art, you will find out that a beautiful part of life, lies in the act of "letting go."

You cannot change how others treat you. (Sometimes
they won't be so loving.) But you can change how you react to it all. (Be sure you respond in a way which shows notsalmon.com love for yourself - and don't beat yourself up over how they're beating up on you.) Be good to yourself - even when others aren't. (Especially when others aren't.)

I wanted a perfect ending.

Now I've learned, the hard way, that some poems don't rhyme, and some stories don't have a clear beginning, middle, and end.

Life is about not knowing,

having to change, taking the moment and making the best of it, without knowing what's going to happen next.

Life is a combination of happiness and pain. Pain is inevitable but suffering is optional. Having a broad perspective on life gives you the strength to move forward through painful times. Know that you are very much needed in this world. With all its infinite possibilities, this life is a gift for it can become a fountain of joy and happiness not just for oneself but for many others as well.
