To the one, who turned me anew,
I owe you big time, O dear guru!
You have been an inspiration,
So bold and true,
And in your company I learned,
What is taught by very few.
You might not be there in this world,
But you, my dear Master, stays forever in my heart.
No matter how big the challenges and distractions,
Nothing can tear my faith in you apart.
I am following the path that you have shown,
Your disciple has become a loved educator,
from a boy merely known.
I promise not to leave this quest of mine,
Of sharing everything I learned from a master so fine.-
You may keep on searching the meaning of life,
In everyday mundane things.
And probably can spend years waiting,
But the doors of your inner being might never swing.
So, my dear Pal, listen to my advice,
Find yourself a master truthful and wise.
Under his/her guidance you'll surely thrive,
And learn the secret of how to live, not how to survive.
The power of chanting god's name is the only truth,
That can change your life once and for all.
It will surely take you to a greater heights,
And prevent you from any downfall.
To follow it or not,
Is purely your call.-
Gratitude is the language of a blessed soul,
It comes out naturally when you are enthralled.
When all your wishes have come true,
You feel like thanking that God in blue.
And Krishna smiles up from the sky,
Giving his blessings to living beings by and by.
It is his nature to look into our trouble,
And pick us up from underneath the rubble.
The only thing he desires, is for us
To follow the path of love and care,
For every living being out there.
This world of ours, as of know,
Is in a great trouble, somehow,
The pot of our karmas is filling with bad deeds,
Of drugs, and smoke, and liquor and greed.
In these times,
If you can help some soul in need,
It surely will add up to your list of good deed.
And if you can still chant the name of god,
You, my friend, will surely reach the higher abode.-
I heard a lot about rowing your own boat,
That the world is nothing good but a big rot.
That nobody comes to help you out,
In the difficult situations of self-doubt,
That you need to fight your own bout.
But, then I looked back at life,
And found that mine has been a blessing in disguise.
Everything that I have achieved today is because of the push I got.
There were so many standing for me when I was a have not.
I have seen family and friends coming together,
To save me during the tough times and the rough weather.
I have seen strangers coming out to help,
Of finding the solutions even before I yelp.
I thank them all with a heart filled with humility,
Thanks for always trusting in my ability.
I have seen that there's still a lot of goodness left alive,
That if you truly trust in God, he'll surely send someone to give you a high-five.
If you really wanna see the good changes,
Be the person who can stand for someone,
Be a friend, a motivator, a listener, a pillar of support, a family.
Be your true self, and then see,
There has never been a lack of humanity.-
The world out there is the reflection,
Of the world inside us.
If you are a worried person,
You will find tensions and worries on every face you see.
If you are a fun loving person,
You will find adventures all around.
If you are a saint, the world is a big temple,
And if you are a sinner, then probably you'll see it as a hell.
If you are a confused personality,
You'll only see conflicts of understanding all around.
In case you are a warrior,
You'll find pretty much reasons to start a war.
If you are a pacifist,
Then the monasteries will answer your call.
So, don't blame the world for what it is,
Dive deeper inside yourself and find out the real issue.
Just connect with the deity you trust in,
And chant their name to open your heart for a whole new reality.
Embrace your life as it is,
And savor the different flavors it serves at your table.-
The best gift you can ever get,
Is the gift of life.
The best story you can ever write,
Is your own story.
The best person you can ever meet,
Is you yourself.
The best advice you can ever hear,
Is to live it to practically experience it.
The best moment you can ever share,
Is the moment of inner-peace.
The best prize you can ever get,
Is the prize of self-acceptance.
The best achievement of your life,
Is the self-discipline.
So live it with self-integrity and self-belief,
I promise, it's gonna be a huge relief.-

What's a meaningful life?
A life with no regrets,
No alcohol and no pack of cigarettes.
A life full of love and care,
No stalking, fights or stare.
A life meant for the benefit of all,
Not to bring anyone's downfall.
A life with purpose and bliss,
With everything to be thankful of and nothing to miss.
A life spent in the service of your lord,
Helping others without greed of any award.
A life full of inspiration and motivation,
Of never breaking down before the final station.
A life of humility and peace,
Handling all difficulties and challenges with ease.
A life of profound wonder,
Lived with both patience and thunder.
This, my pal, is my definition of a meaningful life,
To find your answers, keep up the strife.-
Sometimes,
I feel like telling my students,
To pause a bit and make sure,
That in order to move ahead,
They might not leave everyone behind.
Because in the end,
Not matter how magnificent the palace may seem,
It will never be able to fill the empty heart.
No matter how many dishes you might get on the table,
It won't taste delicious without a good company.
No matter how accomplished you become,
The loneliness will shatter you down.
I just wanna tell them,
To rejoice with the nature,
To respect life as a teacher,
To love their family and friends,
To not follow blindly, the shallow trends,
To bow down in front of god and Saints,
To learn about their cultures and scriptures
without complaints.-
