1. ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಜೀವಿಗಳನ್ನೂ ಗೌರವಿಸಬೇಕು; ಹಾನಿ ಮಾಡಬಾರದು ಅಥವಾ ಕೊಲ್ಲಬಾರದು.

2. ಸಂಬಂಧಗಳನ್ನು ಸರಿಯಾಗಿ ನಿಭಾಯಿಸಬೇಕು ; ಭಾವನಾತ್ಮಕ ಮತ್ತು ಲೈಂಗಿಕ ದುರ್ನಡತೆಯಿಂದ ದೂರವಿರಬೇಕು.

3. ಜೂಜಾಡಬಾರದು, ತನ್ನದಲ್ಲದ ಲಾಭಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಹಂಬಲಿಸಬಾರದು ಮತ್ತು ಸಾಲದ ಹೊರೆಯಿಂದ ದೂರ ಇರಬೇಕು.

4. ಮದ್ಯಪಾನ ಮತ್ತು ಮಾದಕ ದ್ರವ್ಯಗಳ ಸೇವನೆ ಮಾಡಬಾರದು.

5. ಮಾತುಗಳು ನೇರ ಹಾಗು ಪ್ರಾಮಾಣಿಕವಾಗಿರಬೇಕು.

Five Regulative Principles for a Better Life

1. One shall respect all life; one shall not harm or kill.

2. One shall be mindful in relationships; one shall avoid emotional and sexual misconduct.

3. One shall avoid gambling, the craving for unearned gain, and the burden of debt.

4. One shall refrain from intoxication.

5. One shall speak with honesty, kindness, and directness.
