Life used to be simpler;

Technology didn't rule my life;
I still knew the pleasures that
Books and games offered me

I was still an innocent child
With not a care in the world,

It was a joy to be alive;
To wake up to a bright new day;
To have your whole life to look forward to

I miss the days when
My dearest pet was still with me;
She filled me with joy and glee
Just by being next to me;
Not a day goes by when I
Don't miss you, my darling Snowy.
I miss the days when
I was still in Nagaland;
Happy as ever, not a clue that one day
I would be so far away from you

I miss so much and so many
But I guess that's part of growing up;
We mature with every difficult experience
And I've finally come to realise
That I miss the days when
I actually loved being me
