Let's assume hypothetically that a boy had 3 layers around its heart & gave 1 layer to his gf, each time it got broken..!

Once the girl cheated the boy and came back to him saying "Will you forgive me,I cheated you? The boy just took out 1 layer of his heart and gave to that girl thereby forgiving her.

The 2ND TIME girl cheated again and came back to his bf telling "I Cheated you again, will you be able to forgive me.?" The boy took out the 2nd layer of his heart & gave her and smiled with '' It's ok,never do it again"!!!

Same thing happened for the third time...!!

The 4th time girl again came back and said "SORRY,I cheated you again.,will u please forgive me"? The boy searched for his heart bt it had NONE NOW LEFT WITH HIM..!!
