Was a tree
Cut just above its base

The forest was happy
As the dirt had the roots

How would they know!?
Bulldozers follow the axes

I thought I wouldn't get this far. But I did. Not because they didn't tell Me. They told Me. They warned Me. And My dumb mind conveniently or over-confidently ignores it.

That's what I thought when I believed I have reached the top and the person on his way back the mountain trek opened his big mouth and told Me, "only 3/4 quarters to go".
