Liberation

I gazed far into the dark abyss,
And saw the sun finally rise,
After all those darkest nights,
I finally see the light.

The never-ending tunnel now hits a dead end,
And I am freed from the labyrinth I was caged .
The cold breeze from the dark tunnel passes into oblivion
And the warm light of ray is now pierce through my skin.

This light ignites a desire to be burned by its warmth,
And escape the vast city of emptiness within my wrath.
But darkness hasn't left, it still chases me,
So I must run, run from it all my life,
Until it loses its breath or until I lose mine.
