Just like Icarus we fly high above boundaries
Even when we come crashing , become stories
The moonlight witnesses the path to our glory
Mountains imprint our legends and memory
For we are mortals and burn like flame
Sky sings for us, glory is in our name.

Look, it makes it's way up
The animal inside of me
Pulling the chains
And trying to break free

We all bury it inside
But it's never gone
It fades from our memories
And we all move on

But it's presence is felt
Whenever we fear or get angry
You heard that voice in head, it's him
Trying to make his presence feel

It would take only a crack to open
To make him control this body
So I put layers and layers
To only keep him inside of me

Painted in red and blue
After all we are skin and bones
With every crease that's new
Is it a paper boat
Or the ship that you designed?
A hundred oceans roar
Forming waves in your mind

I found one day myself thinking
Which path shall I take
Where should I go from here on
Would that be right ,the decision that I make
Should I go left or maybe right
It was hard to tell
So I started just walking
In the middle
I faced greater mountains
Made by conflict of the two
There were empty spaces
Filled in by the glue
I knew that somewhere I will sink
Atleast that's what others think
You have to take the road they say
But it's not the place I want to stay
So I didn't choose
