घर जल रहा है मेरा,
मुझे आग बुझाने की फुर्सत नहीं...

मेरे आंगन की आग काफी नहीं...

उनके अँधेरे मिटाने के लिए
अपने आप को बुझा रही हूँ,
आग की लौ बढ़ाने के लिए,
अपनी साँसें घटा रही हूँ,

थोड़ा खुद जल रही हूं,
थोड़ा घर जला रही हूं,
रोशन हो सके सारी दुनिया,
इसीलिये, खुद को बुझाये जा रही हूँ...

ज़िन्दगी की दौड़ कहा तक?
जूनून की इंतेहा तक, या सुकून की हद्द तक?!
बढ़ते तजुर्बे के साथ समझ आता है की
हर कोई सुकून की तलाश में है
मगर वह तब ही मिलता है,
जब उसे ढूंढ़ने की कोशिश नहीं करनी पड़े
मिलती सब को सिर्फ अपने हिस्से की शोहरत ही है!

जूनून की नीयत में ही आग और सनक है
जो उसे बंदिशों के पार जाने की भूक देती है,
जिसमे अपने लिए जूनून होता है वह हर बार जीतता है,
पर उस जूनून को भी सुकून की ज़रुरत है...

सुकून की फितरत में ठंडक और ठहराव है,
जो उसे हद्द में रख कर भी बेहद्द बनदेता है,
मगर बिना जूनून के, सुकून की कोई कीमत नहीं...

जूनून बेइन्तेहाँ है अगर तो दुनिया जल जाती है,
और बिना हद्द का सुकून, बेमकसद गुमनाम रह जाता है,

मुझे मेरा सुकून बहुत प्यारा है,
मगर मेरा जूनून मुझे ज़िंदा रखता है,
तोह, ज़िन्दगी की दौड़ कहा तक?
जूनून की इंतेहा तक, या सुकून की हद्द तक?!

But life is too short for some wounds...
Time doesn't heal them...
You learn to grow
around the wound...
Beneath every scar,
There is a tiny bit of you burried, and
With every new wound
Is born a new you...
Until one day, you are not you...

A diamond in the rough,
They said he was...
The lustre and shine,
He always had within,
The road he walked on,
Became a pavement
for generations to follow,
More than just the brightness,
Life has made him a golden man,
He is a diamond at heart,
He is a gem by soul,
He is what we all look up to!

They say there is no worse
feeling that the hurt of heartbreak...
But in reality,
The pain of not knowing
when to stop giving & stop waiting
is worse than any other pain there is...
The pain of despair
doesn't let you raise again,
And yet, the hope of love
doesn't let you fall again...

As a kid, you look up to her,
You dress like her, walk like her
Try and even talk like her...
To you she is your superhero,
But to her, you are just
a clingy sidekick...
You try to learn to be her
Because she is the
perfect peice of art you see...
Life happens, you grow up,
And you realise she is just
as human as you
And when you see her as who she is,
You discover each other completely new
And as we grow together...
I know that there is a lot to learn from you...
