Words I say don't always come out right,
and they always seem to start a fight.

रिश्ते थे जो सूख कर झड़ गए ।

ज़रा गर्दन उचकाओ , देखो इधर

as if she wanted me to bribe the clouds

Looked at the puddles and looked at me
with a child like intent .

Took her to vineyard
And shook the trees hard

और घड़ी में छह बजने का इंतज़ार करती
वह औरत हमसे बहुत प्यार करती है

हम वह चायपत्ती हैं

TILL DOOM SUCCEEDS US .

Come back home soon
do not wait till noon
the family has gathered around
for the brunch .

take out the last barrels from the cellar
let's chug the last of our pale ale
and dance around the table
let's sing and sew , the last of the sweaters
carrot cake and sweet little brownies
lets bake the last of the cakes .

let mothers breastfeed their young
fathers play catch with their son
girls decorating their ponies
Olds rekindling the past .

let's be in a same room , all of us
blood or friends , all of us everyone
overcrowded with life .
love laugh and cry , all at once
holding hugging and smelling each other
and pray for one last time .

Till Doom succeeds us .

On a cold , clammy weather
while we sit cozied up in our minks
shoving firewood into the hearth and
feeling the radiant warmth on our faces
and chuckling underneath our teeth
Tell me , winterberry
Would you ?
still smile if all the firewood vanishes
and there's no mink to cover up
when the broth you sip gets cold
and all you have is a rattling winter wind
gushing through the crevices of our house .
Would you ?
go out to fetch the wood with me
fire up the cast iron skillet
and knit a warm soft blanket
Would you still love the winter my love ?
Or you'd go to a place where it's still warm .
