Nothing in life is truly “either–or.” Innovators constantly take a single creation—no matter how groundbreaking—and transform it into a smorgasbord of new and better options that soon render the original a relic of the past. This truth is evident across almost every field of science and technology. We’ve witnessed it in transport, household appliances, commerce, and especially communication. To still cling to an “either–or” mindset is to live in an illusory world of one’s own.
