हम यह नहीं समझ पाते कि जो हुआ और जो होने वाला है वह पूरी तरह हमारे अपने हाथ में नहीं है। वहां ऊपर बैठा पालनहार हमसे, उसकी योजना के अनुसार हमारे जीवन को बदलने के लिए कार्य करवा रहा है।
तो इस साल हम खुद को क्यों न उसके सबसे सुरक्षित हाथों में सौंप दें और उस पर भरोसा करें कि वह हमें अपने लिए सर्वश्रेष्ठ करने देगा...

न जाने इस आईने कि क़ीमत इतनी क्यों है
जब इसमें देखना किसी को ही अच्छा नहीं लगता।

Both things may be way too precious to you.
You still have to let go of one to make space for the other.
You are limited so is your time.
You probably can't have everything at once.
And that's life ..

रोते रोते अरसों से
अब आँसू भी सूख गए।
चीखा तो था ज़ोरो से
जाने सब किस रुख गए ।

तन्हाई भी तन्ही सी
अब लगती नहीं जानें क्यों
जिन जिन से थी उम्मीदें
वो दाएं बाएं से बेतुक गए।

सब काला सब अंधेरा
सब रात अब न आता सवेरा।
लौ बुझती गई उस दीपक की
जिंदगी के उतर सब तुख गए।

काश किसी एक ने तो थामा होता
बस दो पल रुककर जाना होता
उस तूफ़ान को किनारा मिल जाता
जो अपने कहलाने वालो ने अपना माना होता।

रहती वो नज़रे आज भी टिमटिमाती
फूलों सी दमकती राजकुमारी
तस्वीर बनकर रह गई जाने क्यों
इस भीड़ में वो बेचारी ।

The World is living in pretense
Flattering is the normalising factor
How the hell you expect change when
Noone is focusing on the acts but the actors..
The world tenaciously revolves around few empty souls
And the karma needed to build a world took flight
The masks keep on layering on the skin
Nothing left bare and upright
Sometimes I can't understand nothing
As the nothingness in those nothings are void to the extent of  being scary
My heart beats to a long silence as my senses keeps on getting wary
