I asked a strutting river where it's off to;
A little shy, a little nervous,
It said,
"Its dream, just like you, was to meet its lover -- the ocean."

I asked a swaggering cloud where it's off to;
It growled a little, shook a little,
It said,
"It stole its lover's heart, just like you, came raining down quench the thirst of its lover -- the land."

I asked a shivering leave where it's off to;
It blushed a little, hiding its face
It said,
"It's sunny outside,need to care my love, just like you do, was to shed my lover -- the tree."
