Hey.. he's wearing the same shirt as mine!!

it creates a problem
It draws our attention

One day on the way to my flat I realised I'd left my wallet back home
The methodical person that I'm supposed to be
I rang home and told the receiver to go to my wardrobe
And see if my wallet was in the grey handbag
I was sure it was there..but no it wasn't
My heart in my mouth I rushed into my flat and opened the cupboard rummaged through the black bag but no sign of the wallet..I drove right back home and rummaged through the cupboard again ..but no sign of the wallet
I was sure now that it was picked...My wallet with all my cards...!! I was advised to sleep over it and take up the matter with the bank the next day...but suppose that pick pocket emptied all my savings that night only? I sobbed into my pillow...
Next day I steadied my nerves and prayed hard as I stepped into my flat opened the cupboard one last time and searched in my brown purse and there it was no not there but safely ensconced within my green handbag..phew!!

I held my heart sore and bruised
How can it be? Who did it?
The 'j' word .. Jealousy? ..no jilted !!...

It was pouring whole day
Suddenly the electricity went off
At dusk I couldn't find my mobile..
I groped for and found a candle
And a box of matches
The match box was soggy .. wouldn't oblige
Cursing under my breath
I held the last match stick
Closed my eyes held my breath
and yelled for it to ignite
And lo and behold it struck the right chord and
A flame spluttered and flickered and grew stronger
I lit the candle and found my phone on the tea table!

My undivided attention
and love unbound

I had a thought...
While doing up my bed
In the blushing wee hours
through the corridors of
my meandering mind..
The words flowed sweetly smoothly
Through every crack and cranny
Following me everywhere like
the little lamb listlessly obediently
through my camomile tea
the breakfast table then
into the laundry and the dishes...
Then I sat me down to crop
my woolly thoughts
my priceless unique feelings
I bit my lips and
wracked my brains
and listened to my heart
But all I heard was "I had a thought...!"
