~ दक्षता

क्या कमाल की चीज़ है यह क्वारंटीन,
मर्दों की मर्दांगी को बनाया इसने अधीन,
चाय की टपरी और ढाबों पर बैठ जो रहते थे गप्पों में तल्लीन,
आज कर रहे स्‍टेरिओटाइप्ड विमेंस वर्क और हो चुके हैं अपनी सारी शक्तियों से विहीन ।

बांधा अनेक बंधनों में,
दी संस्कारों की दुहाई,
आज जो तुम संग बीती है भला कौन करेगा सुनवाई ?

घर में रहने के माने जब खाना और सोना होते थे,
तब ये दोनों हाथ सदा अथक ही चलते रहते थे।

खूब घूम ली दुनिया तुमने,
खूब नज़ारे देखें हैं,
क्षणभर को झांक लो घर में भी,
जहां सदियों से हम रहते हैं।

~ एक घरेलू औरत

दिल-ऐ-नादान तुझे हुआ क्या है ?
इस अंदाज़-ऐ-बेफिक्री की वजह करता है ?

क्यों दुखों की रिवायत नहीं ?
क्यों दिल को कोई शिकायत नहीं ?
जो मन-मस्तिष्क था कभी अधमरा-सा,
उसमें ये उल्लास किसने भरा ?

ना बीते कल में हूं मैं फंसी,
ना आने वाले कल की जल्दी है,
ये जिंदगी ना जाने क्यों मुझे आज में छोड़ चली है ?

Today after ages I heard sparrows, cuckoo and crow,
Is this a season for them to grow ?

Nature is blooming like never before,
And Saplings are being watered since clouds have taken over.

Mother Earth is managing in any which way,
Cause it never needed the Humans to slay.

He who took pride over being on top of the food chain,
Is forced to look inside and explore the meaning of pain.

One fine day this is all going to be over,
And they say, everyone's suffering whosoever.

But here too I can see a clear class difference,
Scenario around me has made me draw this inference.

The unfortunates are walking on streets,
And we who are fortunate sulk over them on repeat.

Someone please explain,
Is this a CHAKRA of KARMA
or a much realistic Drama.

CARE BEFORE YOU LOVE

The day when for the first time I implemented my naive skills on,
She was my very first critically ill patient.

The day when I grasped an underprivileged hand and guided it to write,
That was a very special kid from a slum.

The day when I initiated a random conversation with a stranger whom everyone was deliberately ignoring,
That was an innocent girl belonging to minority.

These instances made me realize...
Life is not only about Loving,
It's more about caring.
I may not love these people but I genuinely cared for them.

Love would make you selfish but care will definitely make you generous.
Love demands love in back but caring is the 'Joy of Giving' which will drench your soul with pure satisfaction.

उस चींटी से पूछो जीवन की अहमियत,
जिसे जाने-अनजाने ही कुचल दिया तुमने,
शायद जा रही हो अपने बच्चों से मिलने।

जीने की ज़िद तो है उस खरपतवार में भी,
अनेकों बार काटे जाने पर भी,
हार कहाँ मानी है उसने कभी ?

आगे बढ़ने के साथ-साथ पीछे मुड़ना भी ज़रूरी है,
180 डिग्री के कोण के उस छोर पर तुम्हारी सारी भूलों की गठरी पड़ी है ।

चाँद और सूरज में भी कभी होड़ हुई है भला ?
जब तुम्हारा समय आएगा तभी चमकोगे तुम,
धीरज धर लो ज़रा ।

चाँद पर दाग

तुम्हारी सुंदरता के बड़े मशहूर हैं किस्से,
मगर जो एक दाग है उस निर्मल काया पे,
उलाहने तो खूब सुने होंगे मारे उसके ?

दिन-ब-दिन रूप बदलते तुम,
कभी मोटे तो कभी पतले साँचे में ढलते तुम,
दाग को चेहरे पर सजाए, खूब साहस दिखलाते हो,
फिर क्यों अमावस के दिन छिपकर शोक मनाते हो ?

कुछ तो लोग कहेंगे,
लोगों का काम है कहना,
तुम अंदरूनी सुंदरता को ओढ़ लेना,
सुनो ना ! अब से अमावस को भी आया करना ।
