Dear mother look what we've done to your beautiful garden
Look what we've done to your oceans of blue
Look what we've done to the air that we breathe in
How can we ever make it up to you
Where are the sweet birds that sing to the morning
Where are the fishes that once sustained me
Where is the grain that my bread was made of
Mother, mankind has turned against thee
What is the message you give to your people
What words of wisdom can you bestow upon me
What power can you give me to rebuild your Kingdom
Mother I pray that you'll empower me
