I always love to sit
by the banks of Godavari
near my home town
I get a feeling that
the river feels alone
and it needed to be accompanied
the moderate movement
of waves says something to me
in a cupid language, just like
morning talks to sky and,
silence talks to boredom

I feel that water has a feelings
and emotions, when mixed with soap
dirt and our filthy bodies
I rarely bathe in those waters
though they say it's sacred
I sense more divinity hearing
to that Godavari moving away
from our own to the sea
feeding as many stomachs as
it could .....
