It’s abnormal, it’s bewildering, It’s chaotic,
it’s different, it’s emotional, it’s final….
Change is something that makes you feel like this
You’re not prepared, you’re scared, and that’s okay
But adapting it to, you don’t realise
You’ve lost yourself.
You cannot recognise or remember your personality
You fail to figure out a certain behaviour or tone
You are lost in thought and wonder what’s happening
You aren’t one with the reality of your surroundings

And then one day you decide

I’M DONE!
It’s time I trace back my steps
It’s time I live for myself
It’s time I found myself again
It’s time I found my happiness with no bargain
Situations can change
Adaption can happen
But no more playing lost and found
With my inner self every again.

You don’t curb your emotions
You don’t fight yourself from within
You don’t put up a bold face for your family
You don’t hide your true self
You express your opinions with more respect
You speak with fewer regrets
And most importantly
You get the love and happiness your owed

All that it takes
To be where she is today!
Negative pregnancy tests,
In some cases fertility issues and miscarriages too!
But when she does see those two pink lines,
Her life circles just around you….
It’s not always about how strong our bodies are
Through and with pregnancy, because we know they are
But even without having actually given birth
The ones who’ve been mother figures, know the value too
A Happy Mother’s Day
To every woman that has struggled to be a mom
Struggling to be a mom
Has nurtured someone like a mom
And to our mom
To the single father playing the role of a mom
And our caregivers who’ve been our temporary moms

Really can it be?
An end to what was the most beautiful month
To feel such delight and happiness
After months of fear and anger
Is it over?
Our period of stress?
Our emotional outbursts?
The beautiful downpour of rain
Brings with it our happiness
Wrapped in all the goodness that April could give
Not making a fool out of anyone
But just making us feel surreal

Because life off late has been crazy
Promising to not be easy
Thinking of the road ahead we’d get dizzy
But that’s what makes magic so fancy
We believed
We stuck together
We worked harder
Now relieved and smiling to look at our journey
Turns out everything panned out quite safely…..

Trust, believe, your miracle will come
The more you run behind things
The further away they go
These things are undoubtedly easier said than done
But I’ve learnt
Free falling, letting things take their course
Will eventually make you stronger
You will learn to be patient
And begin to trust in the power of the universe
Manifest and free fall
Things will change their course before you know it
And you will be surprised at the magic of it all….

Are the sweet lovers who love to sing
During spring time, the only happy ring time

Are the acres of rye
Where the village folk would lie

Are the metaphors of life being like flowers
Blooming and dancing but also slowly wilting

Is the present time
That we should enjoy and love

For while spring time maybe a pretty time
Absent in it are the small pleasures of the present life….

I went to bounds I didn’t know existed
I crossed paths that were the ones less traveled
I spoke words that found a new meaning
And yet closure was way too far away from me
Sometimes the things we run behind evade us the most
We just need to let things unfold
Our journey will automatically be less cold….

Anticipation and stress
They can lead to ideas that put your world in distress
That nature of you walking on a thin bridge
Between life and death
Makes you fear your own actions
You have no right mind to think of the consequences
You just walk straight on with a mission in mind
One that will lead you to end your life
But someone comes by, pulls you through
Takes you on a journey that helps you
Unbecoming - your fears, your doubts, your anxiety
You don’t run away, but rather deal with it all
Face your challenges
Unbecoming the toxic nature of yourself
You fly proud

Ringggghhgggg
And poof my nice pj’s are wasted
My dream is broken and the one I hoped to meet
Is further away because of the snooze
Far fetched - those extra minutes of sleep
That wonderful sight of holding that person tight
Snoozed are those thoughts that we’d like to wake up to
But it’s alright to admit
That you still continue to live with them
After every 5 minutes of hitting that button….
