‘Human’ and ‘Man’

The moon plays hide and seek.
But I never let my hope to leak.
I run from windows to windows.
Then from doors to doors.
And finally end up in my balcony seat.
Thank God! Moon ain’t a human being!
For it just plays hide and seek.
But never leaves!

Darkness is not devil, but you or me.
It stood out and this world went after colours.
But then, there came a timen when
The world wished to see the stars!

Thunder ain’t loud,
When it is in my heart!

Only time will tell
Whether or not
The tears you shed
For your broken dreams
Should have been
Cheers with friends
For your apt escape.

No matter whether summer noons or winter nights,
when I am free and there is no one around me,
I go upstairs and start weaving a story.
I put headphones in my ears, play a song
and live that story in my head.
I sing, dance and talk all alone.
But, whenever I turn my head,
I see faces around.
Faces that I wish I could see in life.
These days, I yearn to be free.
Not to go for shopping, hooking or
partying to cheer.
But, to step into my world or
to go upstairs with glee.

To be a writer is to be a cloud.
Lightning and thunder are never enemies to it.
But it makes them allies to pour itself down.

You can’t touch my heart with your hands.
Perhaps, that’s why words are made.

I am still finding an excuse not to take medicines everyday.
And every night, I sit by the window waiting for my phone to ring.

Walk with me till
we start living in pages.
We will lie together in letters
for who does not love to rest!
