Zulfi was three years old. When we rescued her. Probably she had never known love. I would often cuddle her tiny body and tell her that i loved her so much. And then one day she purred close to my chest as if her heart was telling me how precious our bond was.
Zulfi would eat chicken and minced beef. She loved running after birds and chasing mice. She would climb curtains and would play for hours on end.Another thing she loved was sleeping all curled up sometimes close to me . She breathed her last, after nine years.

That it is discipline that is required
to succeed not perfection.
It is consistency and perseverance which leads you to your goals.
Stay hopeful stay positive not every setback is the end.
Enjoy every little thing.
Be kind care for your surroundings
Love trees feed the birds and care for the strays.

No it's a feeble knock. Listen carefully. Hmm now there's something scratching. I try to peep it's a wounded dog , he's bleeding. Maybe some vehicle has crushed his paw. Bring some milk . We can bandage his paw . He eagerly sipped the warm milk . Wagging his tiny tail. He was soaked with water as it was raining. I rubbed him gently with a towel. Due to blood loss he was exhausted, we let him in the gate and he soon dozed off in the porch. I felt a little relieved.

Number eight is occult
A heavy weight
Looks like infinity
A fat lady
Two circles bifurcate
Spider and scorpions have
Eight appendages
And eight tentacles octopus have.

Rainfall is so beautiful
Its like God is showering
His blessings
Rains bring peace
Cut the monotony
Cool everything around
The trees and flowers smile
The dripping drops
Calm the soul.

What makes us sad
Nothing
Just void
Arguements
Anger
Mundane chores
Loveless relations
Sagging spirit, nothing to look forward
That's life like a monotone
Sans colour.

When rain gods finally relent
When the earth smiles
When schools are filled again
With zeal and energy
My son's birthday falls in July
Mine too.

26 JUN AT 20:03

To look after or care
For our environment
Our earth
We keep taking
We keep asking for more
But when its our turn
We hardly do our bit
We don't plant trees
We don't feed birds
We don't keep the rivers clean
We neglect the strays.
The list is endless.

That opens your heart
To most beautiful feelings
It illuminates the soul
And you feel completely at peace.

10 JUN AT 21:54

Doing little every single day
Not letting monotony break your rhythm
Slow and steady always wins.
