It was all good day, as we headed out to play
Laughing, giggling, rolling...
Just maddening in our way.
Saw the moon up hazy and light,
And sun bidding goodbye, down through our sight.
Winded up was the game and in the field we laid,
Staring at the brilliant sky,the euphoria chants glared.
With all the little brothers, we resembled pokémon;
Rolling-out-attack was what we were working upon!
And the joy, laughter and gaze soon turned too dim,
As I turned back,a monster chased!
With its deadly scream...
Got up the ground and ran to save my life, but...
Tripled and fell and rolled in fright
Creating questions, Will I thrive?
Amidst the storm were two pillars so strong
Ripped through the monster, the Saviours-at-dawn.
I thus was saved and my life wasn't questioned
For the moment I was stunned,
Hard to believe I wasn't illusioned.
Saviours were they who guided throughout.
Saviours were they who teased throughout.
So,when yesterday,
I arrogantly commanded,"You owe me your assignment and laptop!"
I, now lament and say:
I owe you my life.
