When you feel scared to wake-up and don't want to face the day, when you feel a stone is placed on your chest, you freeze and you can't move from a place, you lose your appetite, you start losing contact with reality, when you feel alone even when you're in a crowd, and when you feel no motivation to carry on anything- this feeling, I don't know what to term it as, but it's disgusting. I pray to God for the world here that anyone who is experiencing this gets cured, gets healed.

Amen :)

This period of making the first steps into adulthood might be a bed of roses for many, and yet a carpet of thorns for many others. Many have the privilege to go out, party, and dine at their favorite restaurants, whereas others have to work hard, tooth and nail, to earn their monthly expenses, and at times, support their families. Many simply focus on their studies, pursuing their academics without the burden of worrying about their next meal or how to pay their tuition fees, while others work tirelessly to avoid such concerns. It's a time when one witnesses parents aging, their mother's face etched with wrinkles, and one can't help but pray fervently for their parents' good health above all else. Adulthood brings the realization that life is not the same for everyone, that every small expenditure from one's own pocket requires careful thought, and that one's parents' well-being is paramount.

He was like an undiscovered city,
Which I turned into my home

Seeing one's father grieving over his mother's death is probably the most painful observance in one's life.

Dear God,
They say time heals everything,
Send it for my father too :)

Silence tiptoes down my spine,
A gush of winter breath on a warm summer night,
An emptied city falls asleep,
In arms of a streetlamp,
Borrowing light from moments of twilight.

I sit on my couch flipping Karl Marx,
Munching on dry fruits,
Delicate yet dead,
Language cannot map hierarchy of pain,
But politics does at times.

Some cold mess pulls my eyebrows,
Reluctance entangled to my braided hair,
Fingers making love to this poetic mess,
Ah, I remember those lines on a vintage frame
"Overflow of grief, turns into poetry."

Silence silencing the night,
The city half awake and half asleep,
To the lullaby of mosquitoes and orchestra of fireflies,
Poetry shall be born in puddles,
The day it digs something to grieve for,
Sweetest melodies for saddest thoughts,
As Shelley says,
Yes,
Silence has silenced the night,
Tonight.

This era has been a skeleton of situations, too heavy for a human body to hold,
This era has been a playlist of sugar boxes and goodbooks,
This era has been a railroad,
Converging in the horizon to carelessly diverge.

Create your identity in a way so that the world thinks twice before speaking in front of you, let who you are, be the mass and your name, the energy.

Success can never motivate you as much as failure can.
Hug success, you get blindfolded, slip on the floor, you know you have to stand up again
