In shadows cast by fading light,
A feeling stirs within the night,
Of being forgotten, left behind,
By one who once was intertwined.
The closeness shared, now just a ghost,
Memories cherished, love engrossed,
Yet in the present, there's an ache,
As distance grows, hearts start to break.
Questions swirl within the mind,
Why have they left me far behind?
In search of solace, answers sought,
The pain of feeling left, distraught.
But know, dear heart, that you are strong,
In solitude, you still belong.
For in this darkness, light shall bloom,
Renewal rises from the gloom.
Perhaps they're lost in their own fray,
Or wandering on a different way.
Yet in this chapter, you can find,
Strength in yourself, so bright and kind.
And should the winds of change blow near,
And bring them back, once held so dear,
Embrace the chance, forgive, and mend,
A love once lost, now born again.
In times of feeling neglected, see,
The strength that lies within, set free,
For though others may come and go,
You'll stand resilient, heart aglow.-
This poem I write with bittersweet sigh,
For it is the last that will ever come by.
No more words to flow from my pen,
For this journey has now reached its end.
It's been a joy to let my heart speak,
To paint my feelings with words so unique.
But now it's time to bid adieu,
And say farewell to this passion so true.
With every rhyme and every verse,
I've poured my soul without any curse.
It's been a privilege to share with you,
All the emotions that were so raw and true.
But now it's time to say goodbye,
And let these words fly up in the sky.
For this poem that I write to thee,

A sister once close, now distant and cold
Memories of laughter, now stories untold
Once a bond unbreakable, now frayed and worn
A heart once full, now empty and torn
Once a confidant, now a stranger's face
A bond that was strong, now a memory in a forgotten place
But though she may forget, I'll always remember
The love and bond we shared, now a fading ember
Though she may not see, the love still remains
In the corners of my heart, where it forever sustains
For a sister is a treasure, a gift from above
And though she may forget, my love for her will never be removed-
A gentle breeze blew through the trees
As I walked down the lane
I couldn't help but think of you
And the feelings that remain
I saw a rose, so soft and fair
And it reminded me of you
With petals that were so full of care
And a beauty that was true
I picked it up and held it close
Feeling its delicate touch
And I couldn't help but think of those

But like the rose, my love was fragile

I'm left with nothing but a memory
Of what could have been, with ease
I'll keep this rose as a reminder

It’s okay to lose people, perhaps losing is natural but it’s not okay to lose yourself ever and especially in an attempt to get someone else.
Because if that happens it’s very difficult to re-discover yourself back.
