Grief is a strange emotion.
It allows you to move inward into your silent space and discover the hidden depths of pain.
So often in grief we feel a numbness, a detachment, an absolute and complete freedom even.
Because in grief I don't have to wear my mask.
For those moments I take off my shackle and just let myself be.
Today I lost myself to my grief of being in a world which is not mine anymore.
