On a fleeting afternoon,
Looking outside from the small tent,
With cold breeze blowing
over the lush green trees outside,
With sweet smell of fruits so ripe,
Thoughts popped up ever so deep
Amidst the tides in her mind.

What is the meaning of life?
What was her purpose here?
What has she achieved so far?
Where was she headed to next?

Off popped the questions,
Like bubbles from a struggling soul,
In the ocean called "universe".

The answers were lost
Among the floating desires
Of the material world.

But from inside came a soft whisper,
Hold my hand and I'll lift you to the skies,
The answer to your existence lies within,
Take my hand and travel the path.

As she held on to the whisper,
The ocean view changed,
She was in the clouds,
With the big picture below.

All her questions vanished in a puff,
As the awareness dawned,
She could be anything she wants,
Her purpose was her's to decide,
And the whisper was there to guide.

So we part ways,
The journey so far was a joyous ride,
As the rain soaked up memories,
The sun weathered them up,
With the winds dusting the lanes,
Where now we seldom meet.

So we part ways,
With each alley a convo to remember,
Each turn wrapped with your smile,
Every road I walk up to
reminding me of you.

So we part ways,
Leaving things left unsaid,
Feelings a mess and
Matters undecided.

So we part ways,
As the school year comes to an end,
Life parting our roads,
The old bus routes forgotten,
And the bond we shared strong as ever.

So we part ways,
Just to know where life takes us,
Back together or further apart,
Questions yet to be answered,
But free to find our ways.

So we part ways,
Maybe we meet again,
Or just remain a vivid dream,
Of the days we spend
And bond we shared,
Being the best that shaped us up,
To be the people we turned out to be.

In today's world,
It takes a brave heart to fall in love,
It takes strength to trust someone.
It takes a fierce person to care for another,
It takes courage to be real.

So, in a world where people are afraid
to fall in love, to trust, to care, to be themselves.

Be brave, be strong,
Be fierce and stay courageous.

Become the person you are suppose to be.
Listen to your heart and stay true to yourself.

The fire fascinates me sometimes
with the intensity of it's flames
and the heat left in the ashes.

It often signifies love..
slow burning or
high intensity at first
but turned to ashes with time,
just the heat of passion
left in the memories.

Life isn't easy, tough decisions have to be made on a daily basis. Sometimes what we decide for the benefit of others can be painful. But we still go through with it because we love the other person and would do anything for them. And we learn to live with these decisions with smile in our face and tears in our heart as we draw the energy to move forward from their happiness.

As the sun sets and the lights turn on,
the exhaustion from the day catches up,
with the routine chores to complete,
and after dinner and some chats
as I head to my bed,
thoughts start flowing
from the depths of my mind
like waves towards my arms
and to the tip of my pen
to finally settle down on
the empty pages of my diary.

The magical world would not have been the same without you. My childhood would not have been an eventful one if it wasn't for you. And I would not have been the same without you.
Thank you for bringing a bit of magic, hope, happiness and excitement into my life. And thank you for showing me that loyalty, trust and friendship last a lifetime. Thank you for being the light during my darkest days.
