Life, as it turns out,
Isn’t just a bunch of
absurdly scribbled days.
It's also a collection of
Some incredibly crafted
Poetic moments
And some sunlit
Glowing, rainbow memoirs
Maybe, just a few
Blank instances,
But mostly an intriguing
Cocktail of unique
Short tales.-

I saw it standing
Right in front of me
That crazy darkness
Which looked deep blue
It warned that it would engulf me
And take my beloved
Into the path of agony
I stood there watching
Its cruel face
And yet, the tiny light
Of my heart
Which was still alive
Somewhere within me
Asked me to look away
toward the flip side instead
And yes, I did look away
Turned out that
Blueness was the glow
of the starry night sky
And the crazy darkness
Was about to get slayed by the dawn-
My soul craved for some peace
Yet, I found tranquility
standing miles apart from me
It mocked me
‘Come, catch me,” it said
Albeit I moved forward
But it didn’t come any closer
Instead, it kept on moving away
How could I find a piece of it?
After all, I was the one
Who betrayed my own blood
I was the one
Who backstabbed my own love
And when I was stood
in front of the mirror
It reflected back
A hideous, eerie image
Against the pale, spotless facade
That I wore outside my
Self-obsessed, deceitful heart-
Perhaps, the blood moon
Wanted to awaken
The turbulent waves of my heart
And so, it enveloped me
With its bewitching effulgence
Little did it know
That my bosom since long
Has turned
Into a wilderness of dunes
Where only
wild cactuses can rejoice in ecstasy
And finding
even an itty-bitty droplet of pearl
Is tantamount
to bringing the bygones back again-
Burning with thirst from within
She enchanted him like never before
The scarlet woman
Enveloped by prurient verdure
She never gave him a choice
For she was determined
To submerge into him
Like that of a sinking sail
immersing into the ocean’s core-
